Having all the fruit trees and animals around was awesome. The location is in a quiet area and easy jump-off point for many areas around the island. \n\t\t\t\t\t\tIt's such a wonderful farm and there is plenty of space. So many cool things. The lanai is wonderful and it was so peaceful. There's a few things to keep in mind for people staying there. There's no microwave (it really doesn't fit the wellness retreat); there weren't a lot of towels provided, so if you have more than 3 people, you might want to plan ahead; there are roosters nearby, but not on the farm, I didn't find them very loud, but they do make themselves known; there aren't any napkins or paper towels provided, so if that's something you use, pick them up at the store. The road there is super bumpy, so be really careful if you're driving an economy rental car or something with a low clearance. It's a very cool place and it's a really unique atmosphere that you can only get on Hawaii. We are so glad this was part of our vacation.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

My 11 year old has Autism, he was able to enjoy the property and just be himself. Maka and Lani would sit with him on the balcony every evening while he pet them. Captain cook is far less touristy than Kona which is exactly what I was hoping for. You wake up to the sounds of birds chirping, the sheep baaing and the ducks waddling around. There are amazing places to eat nearby at less than a 5 miles distance.
